2. Live Updates: Death toll in Mariupol more than 10,000, mayor says
The mayor of the Ukrainian city of Mariupol said that more than 10,000 civilians have died in the southeastern city since the Russian invasion in February. According to the Associated Press, the mayor said "corpses were carpeted through the streets of our city" and that the death toll could be more than 20,000.

5. Orlando Sentinel: Con­struction begins on Royal Caribbean’s next world’s largest cruise ship
At a ceremony at Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, which has built the last three Oasis-class vessels, cruise officials revealed the name for the massive ship set to debut in spring 2024: Utopia of the Seas. It’s the last of what the line currently has on order for the Oasis class that first debuted in 2008 with Oasis of the Seas.

Orlando International Airport is nearing completion of its new south side Terminal C project. The nearly $3 billion complex, the largest project in MCO’s history, is set to open this summer.

The motion picture academy on Friday banned Will Smith from attending the Oscars or any other academy event for 10 years following his slap of Chris Rock at the Academy Awards.

8. The Ledger: Lakeland to receive $500K to expand red light-running detection program
Lakeland officials will accept a $500,000 cooperative funding grant from the Florida Department of Transportation to expand the city's use of smart technology aimed at reducing the number of fatal car crashes.

Busch Gardens to get new entrance, other enhancements this year

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has revealed enhancements and new entertainment offerings coming to the theme park.​ Busch Gardens will be getting a redesigned entrance sometime later this year, one of the many enhancements at the park.
