ANAHEIM, Calif. — Disney kicked off the second day of its D23 Expo with a mega presentation about projects from its studios, including Lucasfilm Marvel and 20th Century Studios.

For the Marvel portion of the presentation, Marvel head Kevin Feige took the stage to share updates about what the studio has planned for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The reveals included teasers, trailers, first looks at upcoming films and Disney+ series. There were also plenty of celebrity appearances.
Here’s a recap of what was revealed.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Following a surprise live performance from Rogers: The Musical, the Broadway show from the Disney+ series “Hawkeye,” the audience was treated to sneak peek of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
Director Ryan Coogler took to the stage to share the exclusive footage from the highly-anticipated film. The clip featured a scene with Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) addressing leaders of the world about Wakanda’s unwillingness to share Vibranium. The scene was intercut with video of the Dora Milaje in action.
After the clip, Bassett, Winston Duke, Letitia Wright and Tenoch Huerta joined Coogler on stage to talk about making the film.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is scheduled to be released in theaters Nov. 11.
Ironheart
The next project Feige talked about was the Disney+ series “Ironheart,” which centers around Riri Williams. A sneak peek of the show was shown to the audience and included clips of Riri making her Ironheart suit. The footage also introduced Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins, aka the Hood.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
For Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quatumania, which kicks off the MCU’s Phase 5, Feige brought out the cast, including Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lily and Jonathan Majors.
“This thing is bananas,” Rudd said of the film. “This is going to be unlike anything you’ve seen from us.”
An exclusive clip released during the presentation showed Scott Lang and his family being pulled into the quantum realm. The footage also featured a look at Majors as Kang the Conqueror.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will arrive in theaters Feb. 17, 2023.
Werewolf by Night
Composer Michael Giacchino directs this Halloween special set to debut on Disney+ in October. The special, which was shot in black and white, stars Gael Garcia Bernal and Laura Donnelly.
The teaser, revealed at D23, was reminiscent of a classic monster movie.
Secret Invasion & Amor Wars
In Secret Invasion, shape-shifting Skulls have invaded Earth. Don Cheadle, who stars in the series alongside Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), arrived on stage to share footage.
Cheadle stayed on stage to talk about “Armor Wars,” a series centered around his War Machine character. It will pick up right after the events of “Secret Invasion.”
Loki (Season 2)
“Loki” has the distinction of being the first Disney+ Marvel show to get a second season. So the cast, including Tom Hiddleston, took to the stage to share a teaser for the upcoming season. It was revealed that Key Huy Quan has joined the cast.
Fantastic Four
The only news to come out about “Fantastic Four” was Feige confirming the Matt Shakman, who directed “WandaVision,” will direct the film. Other than that, Feige told the audience there was nothing else to share.
Echo
The cast of “Echo” took to the stage to show footage from the upcoming Disney+ series. The clip featured Vincent D’Onofrio, who reprises his role as King Pin. The series will take place after “Hawkeye,” which introduced Maya Lopez, aka Echo.
Daredevil: Born Again
Following the portion about “Echo,” D’Onofrio stayed on stage and was joined by Charlie Cox, who is returning to the role of Daredevil for the “Daredevil: Born Again” series. Since filming has not yet begun, a clip featuring Daredevil in an upcoming episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was shown instead.
Captain America: New World Order
Anthony Mackie, who plays Captain America, took to the stage for “Captain America: New World Order,” the first Captain America film to feature Sam Wilson as the character. He was joined by Danny Ramirez and Carl Lumbly, both of whom are reprising their roles from “Falcon and the Winter Soldier.” It was also revealed that Tim Blake Nelson has joined the cast of the film as the Leader.
Thunderbolts
The characters that will make up the Thunderbolts were revealed. They include Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Ghost (Hannah Joh-Kamen), Task Master (Olga Kurylenko), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan).
The Marvels
The last Marvel project discussed during the D23 Expo presentation was “The Marvels.” Stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani, along with director Nia DaCosta, joined Feige on stage to debut exclusive footage.
In the clip, Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau and Miss Marvel find themselves swapping places after their powers become intertwined.
