ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando announced on Wednesday that the park’s Holidays celebration will return this year from Nov. 22 through Dec. 31.

The festivities will run daily and include Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, Grinchmas, “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade and more.

The holiday events are included as part of admission to the theme parks.

In addition, all of Universal’s hotels will be adorned with holiday décor and offer seasonal experiences. Guests can also purchase add-on, in-park experiences — including The Universal Holiday Tour and The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast.

Here are in-park experiences that guests can expect at the Holidays celebration, according to Universal Orlando officials:

  • Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure: Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade will be decked out in holiday decor as park-goers venture through The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Guests can enjoy holiday-themed performances by The Frog Choir, comprised of Hogwarts students and their giant frogs, in Hogsmeade. Visitors can also dance along with Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees in Diagon Alley. At night, the projection show on Hogwarts castle, “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle,” will return.
  • Grinchmas at Universal Islands of Adventure: The stage show “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular,” which is a live retelling of Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” will return. Guests can also visit Who-ville at Seuss Landing, which will be filled with festive decorations, sightings of the Whos and a photo opportunity with the Grinch.
  • Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s at Universal Studios Florida: Park-goers can spot popular stories and characters as balloons and floats at Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, including Illumination’s “Despicable Me,” along with DreamWorks Animation’s “Shrek” and “Madagascar.” There will also be an appearance by Santa Claus, and the lighting of an 80-foot Christmas tree in Universal Studios Florida. In addition, visitors can enjoy themed food and beverages, seasonal merchandise from a new Holiday Tribute Store and meet characters — including Earl the Squirrel. Also new this year is a Holiday Nutcracker Hunt, featuring a scavenger hunt across Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk.

Additional holiday celebrations across Universal will also take place, stated park officials. At Universal Orlando’s Hotels, there will be special menus for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s, and holiday celebrations will feature Christmas tree lightings, Hannukah menorah lighting ceremonies, strolling carolers and more. Universal CityWalk will offer specialty entertainment and menus at select locations.
