FLORIDA — Spooky season is upon us, which means there are plenty of Halloween-themed events across Tampa Bay and Orlando for people of all ages to enjoy. From theme parks to haunted houses, many local attractions have much to offer.

Whether you are looking to go trick-or-treating in your favorite costume, or walk through a scare trail, the possibilities are endless when it comes to getting into the spirit.

Brick-or-Treat presents Monster Party (Legoland Florida) (MAP)

Select dates through Oct. 27

Legoland Florida Resort’s family-friendly event this year features Halloween-themed shows, delicious candy and treats, along with exclusive Lego characters.

☠️ Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Howl-O-Scream (Busch Gardens Tampa Bay) (MAP)

Select nights through Nov. 2

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay's popular spooky event turns 25 this year, as it returns with five haunted houses, eight scare zones, scary karaoke, themed-shows and more throughout the theme park. Howl-O-Scream is recommended for mature audiences. A separate ticket is required for the event. Guests in costumes are not permitted for Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream.

☠️ Halloween Horror Nights (Universal Orlando) (MAP)

Select nights through Nov. 3

The iconic Halloween event at Universal Orlando this year features 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, live entertainment and more through the theme park. A separate ticket is required for the event. No costumes or costume masks are allowed for Halloween Horror Nights.

Select nights through Nov. 2

SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream this year includes five haunted houses, seven scare zones and five bars. The event is recommended for mature audiences. A separate ticket is required. Guests in costumes are not permitted for Howl-O-Scream Orlando.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (Disney World) (MAP)

Select nights through Oct. 31

The popular Halloween-themed event offers fun for the whole family. Guests can participate in trick-or-treating throughout the theme park and watch Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show and more. A separate ticket is required for the event. SeaWorld's Spooktacular (SeaWorld Orlando) (MAP)

Select days through Nov. 3

This daytime family-friendly event features plenty of Halloween festivities. Guests can look forward to trick-or-treating, costumes, characters and more. SeaWorld’s Spooktacular is included with park admission. View costume guidelines for SeaWorld's Spooktacular.

☠️ A Petrified Forest (Altamonte Springs) (MAP)

Select nights from Oct. 4 through Nov. 2

The outdoor haunt features three scare trails where guests will see monsters throughout the forest. The Halloween-themed event also has treats from food trucks, games and more. View costume guidelines for A Petrified Forest.

Boo at the Zoo (Brevard Zoo) (MAP)

Select dates from Oct. 5 through Oct. 27

Brevard Zoo's Boo at the Zoo is a daytime event that offers plenty of family fun while visiting zoo animals. Activities include trick-or-treating, face painting, Halloween-themed photos and more.

Creatures of the Night (ZooTampa) (MAP)

Select nights from Sept. 27 through Oct. 27

At this family-friendly event, guests can enjoy Halloween-themed experiences as they make their way through the zoo, including spooky characters, treats and more. This year’s theme is the Testudians — “a group of aliens who have disguised themselves as reptiles.” View costume guidelines for Creatures of the Night.

Gators, Ghosts and Goblins (Gatorland) (MAP)

Select dates from Oct. 12 through Oct. 27

Gatorland, the Alligator Capital of the World, is holding its sixth Gators, Ghosts and Goblins event. The Halloween-themed event is included with admission.

☠️ Scream-A-Geddon (Dade City) (MAP)

Select nights through Nov. 2

Scream-A-Geddon offers six attractions, which include haunted houses featuring clowns and spooky creatures. Food, beverages and games are available at Monster Midway. Costumes and face paint are not permitted for guests at Scream-A-Geddon.

Zoo Boo Bash (Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens) (MAP)

Select dates from Oct. 12 through Oct. 27

This family-friendly Halloween-themed event offers tons of fun at the zoo. Zoo Boo Bash features costumes, trick-or-treating with conservation-friendly candy, decorations, inflatables and a DJ.
