ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando revealed details about its new Universal Helios Grand Hotel on Thursday, which is set to open at Universal Epic Universe in 2025.

The Mediterranean-inspired resort will feature 500 rooms and will look out over the gardens of Celestial Park at Epic Universe, officials said.

Named after Helios, the Greek god of the sun, the hotel will boast celestial patterns and constellations throughout its walls and ceilings.

From sleeping rooms to luxury amenities, Universal Helios Grand Hotel offers: 

• Spacious suites — The guest rooms and suites are meant to evoke the tranquility of a blissful garden, officials said, with many of the rooms offering scenic views of Epic Universe. Universal Helios Grand Hotel will also feature "How to Train Your Dragon" kids’ suites, where little ones can immerse themselves in the movie series in a room inspired by the Viking village of Berk.
• Entrance to Universal Epic Universe – Located off the lobby is the hotel’s entrance into Epic Universe, which will provide direct access to and from the theme park (valid theme park admission required).
• Bar Helios – A sparkling rooftop lounge, Bar Helios at Universal Helios Grand Hotel offers a menu of tapas and familiar favorites, handcrafted specialty cocktails, and 360-degree views of Epic Universe and beyond.

Guests of Universal Helios Grand Hotel can also enjoy a complimentary fitness center featuring a variety of strength and cardio equipment, a game room for guests to blast, zap and race their way through a collection of arcade games with the purchase of a game card, and a Universal Orlando Resort Store for guests to purchase everything, from sundries and necessities to Universal Orlando merchandise, and more.

The resort will feature a variety of dining options, including:

• Flora Taverna — a full-service restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and a lobby bar with an open-style kitchen, where guests can watch live cooking. The menu will feature Mediterranean comfort foods, pizza ovens, and al fresco seating overlooking the scenery of Celestial Park.
• Aurora Market — a contemporary coffee shop and market offering freshly-roasted coffees, grab-and-go food items, and snack and dessert options all day
• Lotus Lagoon — a poolside bar and grill where guests can relax with cocktails or non-alcoholic drinks and enjoy casual food options like burgers, salads, and sandwiches.

Officials said more information on how to book a reservation at Universal Helios Grand Hotel will be revealed in the coming months.
