The figure set for the Madame Tussauds attraction at ICON Park is dressed in a red two-piece suit, a white vest and flora shoes that were all donated by Awkwafina. The wax double also features two necklaces, hoop earrings and a gold clutch.

The second figure, wearing a blue gown reminiscent of Awkwafina’s 2021 Emmys look, is on display at Madame Tussauds New York museum.

“The ability for this to happen to me is just really cool, to be, as you guys say, immortalized in wax,” Awkwafina said in a statement.

The “Crazy Rich Asians” star worked closely with a team of sculptors, colorists and hairdressers to create the wax figures and ensure every head-to-toe details was precise, according to Madame Tussauds. It took a team of 20 artists about 9 months to create both figures.

The Awkwafina figure coming to Orlando will debut this month. It will join other celebrity wax figures, including Ariana Grande, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Angelina Jolie and Ryan Reynolds.
