ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando will get into the holiday spirit next month with the return of the Grinch, its holiday parade and more.

The resort on Thursday unwrapped details about its 2023 holiday celebration, which will run Nov. 17-Dec. 31 and include activities at Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and CityWalk.
“Guests can experience a mix of merry and mischief brought to life from holiday classics to experiences inspired by pop culture icons, creating a memorable holiday atmosphere unlike any other,” Universal said in a news release.
Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s returns to the streets of Universal Studios. The parade includes decorative floats, larger-than-life balloons and characters from “Despicable Me,” “Shrek” and “Madagascar.” Santa will also make an appearance on his sleigh.
Mannheim Steamroller will perform at the park on Dec. 2, 3, 9 and 10.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure will be part of the holiday festivities with themed decor and live entertainment. Celestine Warbeck and the Banshees will perform on the Dragon Alley side, while Frog Choir will take the stage in Hogsmeade. “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” projection show will be offered in the evenings.
Also returning to Islands of Adventure is the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular,” a live stage musical retelling of Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
The festivities are included with park admission.
Universal will also offer add-ons during its holiday celebration, including the Holiday Tour on select dates Nov. 19-Dec. 30. The guided tour includes special access to Universal's holiday offerings as well as a meet-and-greet with the Grinch and a photo op with Santa. Pricing starts at $79.99 per person and separate admission is required.
The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast will be offered again this holiday season on select dates. It includes interactions with Grinch and other Dr. Seuss characters and a full breakfast at Confisco Grille for $58.99 for adults and $32.99 for children.
There will also be special food items available at the Holiday Tribute Store and select venues at CityWalk.
