With Genie+, visitors can book Lightning Lane reservations for certain attractions and experiences at the theme parks.
Starting June 27, visitors will be able to select either a single-park or multi-park option for the service.
When the change goes into effect Tuesday, the multi-park option will be priced at $27 per guest, the same as the option for Magic Kingdom. It will cost $24 per guest Disney’s Hollywood Studios, $18 per guest for EPCOT and $16 per guest for Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Last fall, Disney switched Genie+ to a variable pricing system, with pricing varying by date and demand. That pricing structure will remain, but will now also vary by park.
The new options will be based on availability, but Disney says the change will allow it to offer Genie+ for longer periods during busy times like holidays, when the service can sell out for the day.
For example, on a busy day under the new model, Genie+ might not be available to purchase for Magic Kingdom but could still be for one of the other parks.
For now, Genie+ will still only be available to purchase on the day of your visit. Last month, Disney said it was working on ways for visitors to “plan with Disney+ service and individual Lightning Lane selections” before their visit following feedback it had received from visitors. Those changes are planned for next year, and although Disney didn’t share any new updates on that front Friday, it said more details would be shared in “the coming months.”
Disney debuted Genie+ in October 2021 as a paid replacement for the resort’s free FastPass+ service. It also launched a complimentary trip planning service in the My Disney Experience mobile app called Genie, which offers personalized itineraries, recommendations and wait times.
