ORLANDO, Fla. — MegaCon Orlando, which wrapped its four-day fan-fest on April 2, has already set the dates for next year’s event.

The event, scheduled for Feb. 1-4, 2024 at the Orange County Convention Center, will take place much earlier than previous years.
The event, the largest of its kind in the southeastern United States, features a lineup of programming that caters to fans of anime, comics, sci-fi and pop culture. This year, fans were able to meet celebrities such as Rosario Dawson, James McAvoy and John Cleese.
MegaCon typically draws more than 100,000 fans each year. Although final numbers haven’t been released for 2023, more than 140,000 people attended in 2022.
The event also generates millions of dollars for the local economy, with attendees spending money on area hotels, restaurants and more.
MegaCon has already started selling tickets for next year's event, with early-bird pricing available until June 22.
