LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Disney World previously announced that its popular nighttime show “Happily Ever After” would be returning to Magic Kingdom in April.

The fireworks show, which debuted in 2017, features moments and songs from various Disney animated films such as “The Princess and the Frog,” “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and “Moana.” It also uses lights, lasers and projection mapping on Cinderella Castle.
In October of 2021, Disney replaced “Happily Ever After” with a new nighttime show called “Disney Enchantment” for Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration.
Amid calls from fans to bring back “Happily Ever After,” Disney announced at its D23 Expo in September the show would return in 2023.
With a few weeks to go before “Happily Ever After” returns on April 3, Disney gave thousands of cast members and invited members of the media a preview of the show earlier this week.
The show remains mostly the same but it has been “enhanced” with new projections on Main Street, U.S.A.
