ORLANDO, Fla. — Director Sam Raimi, known for the Evil Dead franchise and the original Tobey Maguire-led Spider-Man films, has been added to the celebrity guest lineup for MegaCon Orlando.

Raimi, who most recently directed “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” for Marvel, is scheduled to appear at the fan convention April 1-2.

The director joins a lineup that so far includes Steve Burns (“Blues Clues”), Giancarlo Esposito (“The Mandalorian,” “Breaking Bad”), Katee Sackoff (“The Mandalorian”), Carl Weathers (“The Mandalorian,” “Rocky”), Anson Mount (“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”), and Ethan Peck (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”).

MegaCon Orlando will also feature voice actors, comic book artists, panels, workshops and more.

The convention runs March 30-April 2 at the Orange County Convention Center.
