ORLANDO, Fla. — Discovery Cove has welcomed its first baby pink flamingo.

The Caribbean flamingo chick hatched on June 6 to mom Buba and dad LG, the park said in a news release Thursday.
“The newest Discovery Cove family member has been enjoying a special crop/blood milk diet that is high in fat and protein to help support growth,” the release said.
Discovery Cove also shared pictures of the baby flamingo, which is gray in color. It is expected to reach adult size in four months, but won’t be completely pink until about two to three years from now.
The park is also asking the public to help name the flamingo chick. Voting will take place on its Instagram account June 24-28.
Discovery Cove, which is owned and operated by SeaWorld, offers visitors a chance to interact with marine animals, including dolphins and otters.
