ORLANDO, Fla. — Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain will reopen at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Saturday, according to the Disney World website.

The roller coaster, located in the Asia section of the park, has been closed since January for refurbishment.
When Expedition Everest reopens, it will be included with the Disney Genie+ service instead of an Individual Lightning Lane selection until at least August 7, according to Disney. The Genie+ service, available through the My Disney Experience app, cost $15 per ticket per day.
On Expedition Everest, riders board a train that takes them speeding through Mount Everest, putting them face-to-face with the legendary Yeti.
