As part of the shift, the show will get shorter, more frequent performances throughout the day.

Disney KiteTails first debuted last October as Disney World kicked off its 50th anniversary celebration. The show features large, colorful kites depicting different Disney characters such as Simba, Baloo and Pumbaa.

Disney also revealed the Tumble Monkeys acrobatic act is coming back to the Festival of the Lion King show this summer. The show returned in a modified format last year, with some acts and performers noticeably absent.

Elsewhere at the park, a new version of the Finding Nemo musical, “Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond” is set to debut at Theater in the Wild later this year, although no official opening date has been announced.
