  • The park's updated castle stage show will debut Feb. 25, Disney also announced

  • A cavalcade is also coming to the park on Feb. 11 and will feature Miguel from "Coco"

The parade will return to Magic Kingdom starting March 9, Disney announced Thursday.  It will feature the fire-breathing Maleficent dragon float as well as floats with characters from “The Princess and the Frog” and “Tangled.”

Also returning to the park is the stage show at Cinderella Castle, which will be updated with a new finale and original song. The enhanced show, “Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire,” will begin Feb. 25 and take place multiple times a day.

Magic Kingdom will also get a new character cavalcade called Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, which begins Feb. 11. It will include characters from “Moana,” “Brave,” and “Zootopia.” The cavalcade will also mark the park debut of Miguel from “Coco.”

Disney first shared news of the parade and castle show returning during its Destination D23 event in November. Other entertainment set to return to Disney World this year includes Fantasmic at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the updated “Finding Nemo” show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom — but dates for those shows haven’t been announced yet.
