ORLANDO, Fla. — After canceling New Year’s Eve festivities last year in response to the pandemic, Disney World is bringing back celebrations at some of its theme parks this year.

But if you want to countdown to 2022 without the park crowds, you’re in luck. Disney will live stream its special “Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks from Magic Kingdom on Friday.
“We know many of year at home can’t join us in-person for New Year’s Eve this year, but we didn’t want that to stand in the way of you ringing in the new year with some Disney magic,” Thomas Smith, Disney Parks editorial content director, wrote in a post on the Disney Parks Blog.
The livestream will begin at 11:48 p.m. with the video available on the blog or you can watch below.
