- The event will include the return of the nighttime parade and live concerts
- Food offerings will include Cajun-style dishes as well as flavors from around the world
The event is scheduled to run Feb. 5 through April 24 at Universal Studios Florida.
The parade and live concerts, which were both absent from this year’s event because of the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held on select nights.
Although the parade wasn’t part of this year’s celebration, visitors were still able to see the floats, which were placed throughout the park. Universal even had performers toss beads from the stationary floats.
The last edition of Mardi Gras also focused more on food, with several booths throughout the park representing different flavors from around the world. For next year’s event, visitors can enjoy Cajun-style cuisine from New Orleans as well as dishes inspired by flavors from other countries.
Universal says more details about the event, including the concert lineup and the food and beverage menu will be shared at a later date.
Mardi Gras is included with admission to Universal Studios Florida, but blockout dates still apply.
