ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Slingshot and the Orlando Free Fall, two record-breaking attractions, are on track to open at ICON Park this December.

“The foundation has been poured and the massive ride elements have begun to go vertical…” ICON Park said in a news release Wednesday.
The Orlando Slingshot will be the world’s tallest slingshot attraction, standing at 300 feet. The two-tower attraction will catapult riders about 450 feet into the air at speeds of up to 100 mph.
Meanwhile the Orlando Free Fall, will have its own notable stats. At 430 feet, the attraction will be the world’s tallest free-standing drop tower. It will be able to hold 30 riders at a time, taking them high into the air before dropping nearly 400 feet at speeds of over 75 mph.
Both attractions are owned and operated by Slingshot Group of Companies, with Keater Construction is the general contractor.
These two attractions will join other attractions at ICON Park, including Orlando StarFlyer, Madame Tussauds Orlando and Sea Life Orlando Aquarium.
