VelociCoaster officially opened to the public on June 10 after weeks of soft openings and passholder previews.
The “intense” new attraction is based on the Jurassic World franchise and includes nods from the films such as velociraptors. It also features a number of twists and turns, including a 360-degree barrel roll over the park’s lagoon. The coaster also features a 155-foot top hat and reaches a top speed of 70 mph.
