ORLANDO, Fla. – Disney World has shared a preview of the renovated guest rooms at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Right now, Disney is updating the guest rooms on all nine floors of the hotel.
For the makeover, Disney is giving the rooms a new look inspired by the Disney-Pixar film “The Incredibles.” The décor will feature elements from the films, including characters such as Edna Mode and Frozone.

“New custom artwork in guest rooms and along guest corridors will be modern, futuristic and oh so stylish, dahling, complementing the resort’s architecture while putting the Super’s powers on display,” according to a post on the Disney Parks Blog.
The rooms will also have a monorail motif.
The Wave…of American Flavors restaurant at the Contemporary will close, Disney said, to make way for “a reimagined dining experience.”
The new look for the guests rooms as well as the changes to The Wave are set to debut this fall, in time for Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration.
