ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando has added new culinary options and other touches ahead of the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.

​Banners and other signage featuring the rings and the have appeared at Universal Studios Florida.

At the park’s Music Plaza are new food booths serving Japanese dishes and beverages. The menus include char siu rice bowl, lemongrass rice bowl, edamame, sushi, grilled matcha puffs and Japanese highball and sake.

The Music Plaza stage also now features giant banners of various athletes, including Noah Lyles and Simone Biles.

Over the weekend, Universal also debuted a new preshow to its Cinematic Celebration lagoon show. The five-minute long presentation called “Celebration of the Olympics,” features scenes of past and present Olympic athletes projected onto water screens.

Meanwhile, the Olympics are now scheduled to run July 23 through August 8 and broadcast on NBC.
