ORLANDO, Fla. – As roller coaster fans wait for Universal’s new Jurassic World VelociCoaster to open, they can now get an even closer look at the ride.

Over the weekend, Universal reopened the bypass bridge that connects the Lost Continent to Jurassic Park in Islands of Adventure.
When crossing the bridge, eager fans are able to get new views of the coaster, including the track overhead.

Heading into the Jurassic Park area, visitors can also see two large velociraptor states near the entrance for the attraction.
Last month, more construction walls came down, revealing more of the ride, including the themed rockwork. Visitors have also been to see the coaster in action as Universal has been testing it periodically during the day and at night.
VelociCoaster will reach a top speed of 70 mph and feature a series of maneuvers including, a 360-degree barrel roll and overbanked turns.
Jurassic World VelociCoaster is scheduled to open this summer, although Universal has not yet announced an official opening date.
