ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Disney World guests will be able to walk from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Magic Kingdom.
- Disney to build walkway connecting Magic Kingdom to Grand Floridian
- Permit for the project filed earlier this month
- No word yet on when the walkway will be completed
Earlier this month, Disney filed a permit with the state for a project called "Grand Floridian to MK Walkway."
The walkway would connect the resort to the theme park, giving guests another transportation option beside the monorails or water taxis.
"The walking path from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will give our Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests another convenient way to reach Magic Kingdom Park," a Disney spokesperson said in a statement Monday.
No details were included with the permit, such as when the walkway would be completed.
