ORLANDO, Fla. -- Fun Spot America will open an interactive splash pad at its Orlando location this summer.

The new water attraction will have over 30 interactive features, including water toys and spraying elements. Designed by Orlando-based Aquatic Design & Engineering, the splash pad will also feature slip-resistant flooring and UV ray technology that disinfects the water without using harsh chemicals.
To conserve water, the splash pad will use sensors that detect when visitors are present.
"We are excited to begin this next phase of our development plan and adding this amazing interactive water feature is the first step we have been working towards for some time now," Fun Spot America CEO John Arie Jr said in a statement.
The new experience will be included with Fun Spot's all-day armband pass.
