ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Disney has released the first official photo of the Millennium Falcon inside the upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

The photo of the iconic spaceship was taken inside the themed land at Disneyland Resort. A similar land is also under construction at Walt Disney World.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will feature two new attractions, including one based on "fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy."
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, will let riders take control of the ship's cockpit as they embark on a mission for space pirate Hondo Ohnaka. The second attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, will put riders in the middle of a battle between the Resistance and the First Order.
The land is set in Black Spire Outpost a town on the planet of Batuu. Visitors also will be able to explore the marketplace, interact with characters and try Star Wars-themed food and drinks at the cantina.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is slated to open summer 2019 at Disneyland and late fall 2019 at Disney World.
