ORLANDO, Fla. -- The characters from Disney-Pixar's "Cars" are getting their own show at Disney World.

• 'Cars' show coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios
• Will feature Lightning McQueen and rookie racers
• New show set to debut in early 2019

Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy will put guests face-to-face with a group of rookie racers who have a lot to learn from the racing legend.

Tow Mater and Cruz Ramirez will also be featured.

According to Disney, the new show will take place near Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, although a specific location hasn't been announced.

Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy is set to debut at Disney's Hollywood Studios in early 2019.
