Brandon Green is a multimedia journalist for Spectrum News 13, focusing on sports reporting for Spectrum Sports 360.
He comes to Florida by way of Flint, Michigan where he worked as a sports director and reporter at ABC12 for four years.
Brandon is originally from Waldorf, Maryland. He grew up watching some of the best players in the country such as Kevin Durant, Michael Beasley, and Victor Oladipo. It was in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area where he developed his love for basketball.
Before heading to Flint, Brandon started in South Dakota at KDLT-TV where he was a sports/news reporter.
During his time in the Mitten, Brandon covered a wide range of sports from Big Ten college sports to local high school sports. His favorite memory was covering the University of Michigan football team winning the national championship in 2024 and the Detroit Lions winning their first playoff game in three decades against the Los Angeles Rams. He won multiple Michigan Associated Press Media Editors awards for best sportscasts and sports coverage.
