Brevard County
Thursday residential garbage customers who were due service Oct. 10 will be serviced on Monday, Oct. 14. Thursday residential recycle and carted/containerized yard waste customers will be serviced on Thursday, Oct. 17.

Flagler County
Palm Coast
Storm debris removal will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Residents should not place storm debris in bags, cans, or containers. Ensure that the swales and ditches are kept clear.
When placing debris at the curb, please separate items into the following categories:
- Vegetative debris — Leaves, logs, tree branches, and other vegetative debris
- Construction and demolition debris — Building materials, shingles, drywall, lumber, and similar items caused by Hurricane Milton.
Regular household garbage is not included in debris removal. Please follow your normal garbage schedule for those items.
Osceola County
Regular curbside collection of bulk, garbage, recycling and yard waste will begin the week starting Monday, Oct. 14.
The county also will deploy a contractor to pick up hurricane-related debris curbside. Separate hurricane-related debris from all other debris, or it won't be picked up.
Osceola County opened a free yard waste drop-off site on Canoe Creek Road across from Bramble Wood Drive and Kanuga Village. The site is open to all Osceola County residents 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Sunday, Oct. 20. If necessary, the timeline may be extended. St. Cloud
There will be no bulk pickup the week of Oct. 14, but the city will collect garbage, yard waste and recycling carts on the regular schedule. Bulk pickup will resume Oct. 21.
Yard debris collection will begin Monday. The city has provided a map of scheduled pickup dates. The city will not be charging for the pickup of yard storm debris. Green yard waste carts will be picked up on Wednesday as usual.
Orange County
- Regular curbside collection services are planned to resume starting Monday, Oct. 14. Yard waste collection will be delayed due to post-storm volume.
Winter Park
- On Saturday, Oct. 12, Waste Pro began picking up only properly bagged, containerized and bundled tree and other vegatative debris (not to exceed 50 pounds). If you have a large quantity of bags, all bags may not be picked up at once in order to service as many customers as possible. Depending on the amount of debris, this will take several passes before all debris is removed. Debris also will be picked up Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Saturday, Oct. 19. Up to 15 bags/bundles/containers (3 cubic yards) of properly prepared yard debris will be picked up. More than that may be picked up later.
- City residents can bring a maximum of 15 yard debris bags (not to exceed 50 lbs. each) to the City Operations Center located at 1409 Howell Branch Road between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, Saturday, Oct. 19 and Sunday, Oct. 20. Bring proof of residency: driver’s license, valid ID or utility bill statement.
Seminole County
Regular garbage collection services will resume on Monday, Oct. 14.
- All Waste Pro routes are expected to be back on schedule on Monday, Oct. 14. This will be a heavy day for all twice-weekly contracts (Seminole County).
- Only schedule or set out bulk items Thursday, Oct. 17 or Friday, Oct. 18.
Oviedo
- The FEMA contractor for Oviedo, Looks Great Services, will start picking up hurricane debris on Thursday, Oct. 17. Crews will start in the northwest section of the city, where debris is heaviest. The process could take a few weeks, city officials said in a statement.
Sumter County
Regular garbage collection services will resume on Monday, Oct. 14.
Wildwood
- As residents clean up yards, officials ask those on city-maintained roads to pile vegetative debris in rows along the right-of-way, out of the street. Crews on extended shifts will begin collecting piles Monday morning. Vegetative debris should not be placed in bags or contain non-vegetative materials. Residents on privately owned and/or maintained roads should contact their property management or homeowners association for information on how to prepare and dispose of storm debris. Residents of The Villages should refer to instructions from district management.
Volusia County
Volusia County Solid Waste will resume regular yard trash collection the week of Oct. 14.
Beginning Monday, Oct. 14, normal operating hours resumed for the Tomoka Farms Road Landfill and West Volusia Transfer Station as follows:
- Tomoka Farms Landfill: 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday
- West Volusia Transfer Station: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday
Bunnell
- Regular solid waste schedules resumed on Monday, Oct. 14.
- Yard waste is from trees and bushes and vegetation only. Items that used to be trees such as wooden fence posts or fencing are not yard waste. Yard waste piles must be separated from bulk pickup/other debris (furniture, carpeting, construction debris) piles. Appliances need to be in their own pile. Over the next several weeks, storm yard waste and debris will continue to be collected as daily operations allow.
