At about 6 a.m., Melinda Beard of Winter Garden was driving a 2017 Dodge pickup truck eastbound on Landstreet Road and as she tried to pull into a 7-Eleven, she instead pulled onto train tracks, the Florida Highway Patrol says.
The 22-year-old woman's truck became disabled on the tracks as a SunRail train approached. But she got out of the truck when she saw the train coming, troopers say.
After the crash, the truck was pushed into Simon Uzcategui's 2010 Dodge pickup truck.
There were no injuries.
The 123 passengers and two crew members aboard the northbound train were taken to the Sand Lake Road station, where they boarded another train.
The SunRail train that struck the pickup has been taken out of service, Florida Department of Transportation spokesman Steve Olson said.
Beard was ticketed for careless driving, FHP said.
