The weather in October tends to be dry and comfortable in SoCal.

It's perfect for outdoor plans and activities such as visiting your favorite pumpkin patch.

It's safe to say there are dozens of pumpkin patches in SoCal, but here are a few favorites.

#1: Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch

Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch was established in 1987 in Culver City.

It's known to be a spooky, fun space in which families and children can learn more about nature and the environment while celebrating the more traditional side of Halloween.

Here you can find a pumpkin and tipi village, super slide, giant rocking horses, petting zoo, and even face painting.

#2: Tina's Pumpkin Patch

Tina's Pumpkin Patch is located in Sherman Oaks.

You can find anything from pony rides, a petting zoo, bouncers, a train ride, an obstacle course and even a straw maze.

#3: Pa's Pumpkin Patch

Pa's Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach has been operating for over 40 years.

It's known for its carnival-style environment with over 28 different attractions.

Here you can find a snack bar, pony ride, petting zoo and a variety of games and rides.

#4: Tanaka Farms

Tanaka Farms is a 30-acre farm in the heart of Irvine, California.

They have been in their current location since 1988.

Not only can you find a unique pumpkin, petting zoo, corn maze and wagon ride, but also over 100 different types of vegetables, depending on the time of year.
