KENTUCKY — A cold front will pass through the area Friday, with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible.

The cold front heads east early on Saturday with lingering showers possible, especially in eastern Kentucky. Most of us will start drying out, but temperatures will be a touch cooler. Look for afternoon highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

A nice and dry day is ahead on Sunday. We will see plenty of sunshine, with afternoon highs once again in the lower 70s.

Early next week, temperatures will soar back into the 80s.
