The school is celebrating its 130 year anniversary, where 55 classes had tents and were represented during the celebration on the football field.

The Tigers also had a parade around the track, which was led by 2018 alum Kerby Joseph.

Joseph is a safety for the Detroit Lions. This past season he led the NFL interceptions and was a 1st-team all-pro selection.

He said it meant the world to him to show up at his former school, “To come out here and see the community gather up together, it’s Tigers pride, but I feel like it’s one love.”

The recognition did not stop with the parade. MedHealth Clinical also announced they will be opening a new office in Orlando, “The Kerby Joesph Center.”

Derrick Taveras, CEO of MedHealth Clinical, said during Tigers Pride Day, Joseph constantly wants to give back to his Orlando community and this center is a realization of Joseph’s dream.

The ribbon cutting is expected to happen in April.
