Cole created an organization called 50 Ways Foundation, which describes its mission as ‘dedicated to inspiring, empowering and mentoring youth by providing new experiences and resources that create different opportunities for them to be successful.’ The guard has hosted various events since joining the Magic and has continued it in his hometown in New York.

Because of his philanthropic efforts, Anthony was recently named the 2024 DeVos Community Enrichment Award winner for his work off the court. He was granted $20,000 and decided to split the funds between two Central Florida organizations, presenting Vibrant Families and CrossTown 119 with checks at his bowling fundraiser.

Both organizations support underserved communities and at-risk youth.

“It’s dope,” said Anthony. “Fourth year in Orlando to see all these people I know and meet some new faces too. It’s a real full circle moment for me to see where I’ve come from, to where I am now, but we’ve got a lot more building to do.”

The bowling event at Primrose Lanes brought nearly the entire Magic team and coaching staff for a fun night of bowling for a good cause. Anthony notes philanthropy is part of the culture in Orlando.

“I’m so fortunate to have been drafted into the situation I am in now,” said Anthony. “Forget the on the court stuff, off the court its just such a high character group of people from the front office to the players to the owners.”
