ORLANDO,Fla.— Hannah Goldy wears a couple different titles.
One is a UFC fighter and a pretty good one at that but her more important title is at home.
Mother to her son Odin.
Odin is a four-year-old boy who is full of energy.
Goldy’s mornings are consumed with getting him ready and refocusing her mind by watching motivational videos and writing down what she’s thankful for.
“I really do believe that if you manifest positive energy then positive energy is going to find you. I think law of attraction is a real thing and I think if you spend time working on the inside then everything on the outside is going to fall into place,” said Hannah Goldy, a mother and UFC fighter.
After that it’s off to school for Odin and straight to the gym for Hannah.
A place where she wears both of her titles with pride.
“My favorite compliment is always you’re a great mom,” said Goldy.
A great mom with a fierce punch and a grateful attitude for mixed martial arts.
“It’s just done so much for me. Personally, emotionally, physically. Like the gains I’ve made from being a martial artist I will take with me the rest of my life,” said Goldy.
It’s those gains that have shaped her into who she is today.
“Being in the gym teaches me more about myself every day. It makes me a better person every single day which makes me a better mom. Which makes me more able to teach odin how to be a good person and to me that’s the goal of being a parent. We just want to raise our kids to be good people,” said Goldy.
She gets better every day and stays ready for whatever comes next all while setting the example for her biggest fan.
“I’m trying to leave this world a better place than it was when I came into it and I’m trying to effect as many people positively as I can and if he sees me do that then we are on the right path because he will be doing that too,” said Goldy.
