ORLANDO, Fla.—

Robyn Slain is your normal every day mom.

Okay, well maybe not just your average mom.

“When I’m in my mom clothes and my hair is down and I have my glasses on nobody would ever think that I could do the things that I do with a basketball,” said Robyn Slain, a sports entertainer.

It’s truly jaw dropping as she spins ten basketballs at the same time.

Slain is a sports entertainer.

“It’s a hobby that turned into a career for me,” said Slain.

From NBA halftime shows to intercity schools Slain has shared her skills with countless people.

“I’ve been in 38 states. I’ve been in two different countries. I’ve been in large arenas to small gymnasiums, dirty floors,” said Slain.

It’s her message that makes the difference.

“That’s what I try to do. Speak truth in their life. Speak good things in their life and encourage them not just in sports but encourage them in hey you have a passion, you have a gift, you have a talent,” said Slain.

Something similar to what she was told at a young age.

“I was in a school assembly in the fourth grade and I was really just inspired by a basketball handler who came in and entertained. She impressed me with her skills but she really impacted me more with her message,” said Slain.

As life comes full circle for Slain she hopes to pass her spin on life to the next generation.

“I use an example of a flat basketball. I show them the ball and they don’t know it’s flat by looking it on the outside and that’s how we are as kids. We want the stuff. We want to look good. We want what’s on the outside. We want the shoes, we want the jersey, we want the equipment but it’s what’s on the inside that’s going to make the biggest difference,” said Slain.
