ORLANDO - Former President Donald J. Trump will speak February 28 in Orlando on the final day of the largest gathering of conservatives in the world, Spectrum News confirmed Saturday.

The four-day Conservative Political Action Conference begins Thursday at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, 9801 International Drive.

The former Republican president is scheduled to speak on the last day of the convention, Ian Walters, communications director for the Alexandria, Virginia-based American Conservative Union, told Spectrum News.

His speech is expected during the afternoon of February 28, but an exact time had not been determined as of Saturday.

The nonprofit has organized Conservative Political Action Conferences annually since 1974.

Its website added Trump as a speaker for CPAC 2021.

“We will make America strong again," a quote attributed to Trump says on CPAC 2021's website. "We will make America proud again. We will make America safe again. And we will Make America Great Again!”

Other scheduled speakers include Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

U.S. Sen Rick Scott of Florida and former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi are also scheduled to speak. U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, whose district includes North Florida, is a listed speaker, as is U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas.

Most tickets for CPAC 2021 were sold out as of Saturday. Only high-end packages were available.
