There's a new restaurant in town that's an attraction unique to not just Central Florida, but to the whole country, too.
Kit Vongprachane is the manager at Twenty Pho Hour, an unexpected find in a strip mall on I-Drive.
Twenty Pho Hour is described as a 2D noodle bar. It looks and feels like you're immersed in a black-and-white sketch. “There's no Pho spots with a unique concept like ours.”
This selfie-worthy concept comes from a cafe Kit heard about in Southeast Asia. “They were so popular that they got kicked out of the community because they were bringing too many people. And we thought that was a great problem to have.”
This is Kit's first time opening and operating a restaurant, although he's a veteran in the hospitality industry. Growing up in Buffalo, N.Y., and then living in Tampa, he was a server, dishwasher, cook, you name it. He helped out in the front and back of house at his family's restaurants.
Twenty Pho Hour (11951 International Drive, Orlando) has overnight hours most days, but for now, it's open 24 hours on Saturday, closing at 9pm on Sunday night.
