ORLANDO, Fla. — For the first time since 2012, a beloved EPCOT attraction has been totally reimagined.
- Disney cast members are now able to experience Test Track 3.0. The original Test Track opened in 1999, and a second version debuted in 2012.
- The attraction hasn’t reopened to park guests yet, but we got a special sneak peek of the new sights, sounds, and storyline. The new queue of Test Track 3.0 features two rooms with six exhibits, including a bunch of concept cars.
- Once you’re belted into your ride vehicle, you’ll pass through brand new scenes before clocking in at nearly 65 miles per hour, the fastest Disney theme park attraction. “We really kept the speed loop as the culmination moment of the attraction,” said Dan Brookwell, Walt Disney Imagineering Senior Production Designer. “It’s really the box ride itself where we take guests on this journey through innovations and design of the future and get them excited about what the future holds.”
- There’s also a new vehicle showcase in the post-show, where you can explore the latest innovations from General Motors.
- Test Track 3.0 officially opens July 22, 2025.
