WORCESTER, Mass. - For the Holy Cross football team Spring practices ended last Saturday with the Spring game, which is a combination of a scrimmage and some individual drills, by all accounts the entire session was a big success for the Crusaders in terms of player growth and the coaching staff being able to evaluate players and position groups.  "Goals for Spring is to eliminate those simple mental errors,"  said SS Carlo Crocetti, "kind of stick to the basics and just get that down so that way  Spring ends, Summer comes around, camp comes around, we continue to add more, add more and have everything set in stone."

"It's such an important piece,"  said Head Coach Dan Curran, "I think about when you talk about getting competitive live reps running our offense, our defense, our special teams, there's no look teams.  The ability to not only evaluate guys but to develop guys, you can't duplicate that the way you can in Spring ball.  Because you're not preparing for an opponent, so it's been really really beneficial for everybody."
