In Hillsborough County, nearly 60% of voters have already cast a ballot either at early voting locations or by mail.

Supervisor of Elections Craig Latimer says seven polling locations had to be relocated due to hurricane damage.

“We literally were shut down for an entire week and came back the Monday before early voting started,” said Latimer. “We’ve already had, over, almost 300k people are going to early vote that we were able to take care of and make sure there voices are heard. So it’s been very rewarding to have everyone step up like they have.”

Hillsborough County voters can drop off mail-in ballots at one of five Supervisor of Elections offices before 7 p.m. on Election Day or vote in-person at their assigned precinct on Election Day.

The Division of Elections says more than 44% of all registered voters in Florida have cast a ballot statewide.

Polls open on Election Day, Nov. 5, at 7 a.m.
