MARION CONTY, Fla. — Hurricane Debby left Central Florida dealing with flooded roads and power outages.
In Citra, located in Marion County, emergency management officials are asking residents to use caution if driving is necessary. Northeast 175th Street was blocked because of a downed tree in the road.
In Cocoa, winds were strong enough to flip five RVs and leave many residents without power or water.
Monday morning, FAA reported that a ground stop was likely at Orlando International Airport (MCO) after 7 a.m. By 8 a.m., departure delays were already starting to grow. You can check flight status by clicking here.
Meanwhile, people who live in Florida's Big Bend were preparing for the impacts of Debby. Conditions in Perry were beginning to intensify with heavy rain and strong winds.
