ORLANDO, Fla. — One man is dead following a crash between a car and a Lynx bus near Valencia College, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

A preliminary report from investigators says both vehicles had a green light while traveling on North Econlockhatchee Trail, approaching the intersection of Valencia College Lane.

According to the report, the bus driver was trying to turn left when the car, which was continuing straight, collided with it and redirected into a concrete wall.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

FHP says the bus driver, identified as a 59-year-old man from Orlando, and five passengers on board were not hurt.
