Orlando Police said that most of the estimated 1,200 people that were there were demonstrating peacefully. But they did say that the two individuals that were arrested will face charges of battery of a law enforcement officer.

Officials said police did deploy a handheld chemical agent at a group that became disruptive. No injuries were reported.

This demonstration echoed the calls heard at other protests in Central Florida and around the country.

"A permanent ceasefire, and now, the only fair solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict is a one-state solution where everyone, Jew and Palestinian, has equal rights. And that is what is referred to as a 'Free Palestine,' from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea,” said Franklin Perez, one of the protestors in attendance.

On Saturday, Israel's military ordered the evacuation of more neighborhoods in Rafah. The UN said about 300,000 people have fled over the past week.

President Joe Biden said a ceasefire could happen as soon as Sunday if Hamas would release the hostages in Gaza. This is after Israel rejected a ceasefire plan that they said didn't include what they negotiated.

The demonstration at Lake Eola ended shortly after police said those arrests were made. Police also released a statement that said they are committed to keeping protestors, residents and businesses safe.
