McDuffie, who goes by the nickname DJ Man, is president of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club's Orlando chapter. The club is a national organization that, among other things, teaches people about safe motorcycling.

The three pillars of the club are ride, serve and educate.

McDuffie can be found serving Thanksgiving dinner to seniors at the L. Claudia Allen Senior Center in Orlando's Clear Lake area. He also entertains them, which is a five-year club tradition.

"We had a clubhouse on Old Winter Garden Road. We kinda outgrew it, so we partnered with the city of Orlando and did it here," McDuffie said as he described the senior center. "It's in a much bigger facility, and we can serve more people."

McDuffie has a long resume of protecting, serving and entertaining.

He's been a DJ since he was 15 years old, a sheriff deputy for about 30 years and served in the U.S. Air Force. Today, he's following the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club pillars.

"We do as much as we can within our community to make it better," McDuffie said.

McDuffie said the club raises money for children for Christmas. Two hundred kids are taken to Walmart, where they're able to spend $100 and get whatever they want for Christmas.
