VOLUSIA COUNTY — A missing 14-year-old female from Daytona Beach was found in Marion County Tuesday afternoon, according to the Daytona Beach Police Department.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued an AMBER Alert Monday evening for Barbora Zdanska who they believed was kidnapped.

The Daytona Beach Police Department, in an update Tuesday, said Zdanska is unharmed and that no crime was committed based on witness statements and an investigation.

"No crime had occured due to the alleged accusation not being factual and also being reported by a third party and not the victim," said the police department in a statement.

According to Daytona Beach police, they spoke with an owner of a vehicle the girl was said to be traveling in.

The owner admitted she drove to Daytona Beach to pick up Zdanska and dropped her off at a house in Jacksonville.

Police said the vehicle owner was cooperative with law enforcement.
