Freshman guard Judah Mintz has announced that he will enter the 2023 NBA Draft process after one year with Syracuse.

By testing where he could get picked in June, Mintz said he will maintain his college eligibility while trying to become a professional basketball player.

"I’m excited and blessed to have this opportunity and I can not wait to see what is in store for my future," Mintz posted on Instagram Monday evening.

The Maryland native finished second in ACC Rookie of the Year voting, finishing eighth in the league in scoring with 16.3 points per game and fifth in assists with 4.6 per game.

Mintz said that for as long as he could remember he had the same dream, "and my freshmen year at Syracuse was part of that dream."

He called his time at Syracuse an incredible experience.

"I am thankful for the love and support my teammates and I received from the Syracuse community," Mintz said.
