The Buffalo Bills have acquired running back Nyheim Hines from the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for RB Zack Moss and a conditional sixth round pick in 2023.
Hines, known as primarily a pass catching back, has 25 receptions for 188 yards this season. He has 235 receptions for 1,725 yards and seven touchdowns in five seasons with the Colts.
He also has rushed for 1,205 yards and 10 touchdowns in his career.
In Buffalo, Hines joins a backfield comprised of Devin Singletary and rookie James Cook.
The Bills also sent a 7th round draft pick to the Atlanta Falcons for safety Dean Marlowe. Marlowe played three seasons in Buffalo, starting seven of the 26 games he appeared in, before signing with the Detroit Lions in 2021. He played in all eight of the Falcons’ games this season.
