ROCKLEDGE, Fla. — It was the surprise of a lifetime for one Rockledge woman on a Friday afternoon — and a search that has now come full circle.
Imagine finding out you have a brother you didn’t know about, and that man has been looking for his family for 50 years.
On Friday afternoon, Kim Lynn came home to a house full of family — and that family has now grown. She met two more brothers for the first time.
One of them is Kevin, who flew in from Illinois, who she knew about but has never met until Friday.
Peter drove down all the way from Vancouver, Canada — 3,500 miles away.
It turns out they just found out he existed through one of the popular DNA testing websites, and he had a gut feeling for as long as he can remember, so he was looking for them for 50 years.

"This is absolutely amazing, I mean I knew about Kevin, we emailed but never met, and Karen I haven't seen her since mom passed," says Lynn. And we just found Peter, or he found us. 'I've only been looking for 50 years," Peter interjected' and we were thinking maybe November we could meet, and yeah you got me good. It's amazing. We have an awesome family."
It's also Kim's birthday, which makes the surprise extra special.
One member of the family is in need of a kidney transplant.
No one is a match at this time, so Peter is going to test and see if he is a fit.
The family is also planning a big July 4 party to celebrate the reunion.
