  • Both victims had stab wounds and deep cuts

  • The Daytona Beach Police responded to 8 incidents within a one mile radius in the past 7 days

Police found both victims along North Wild Olive Avenue, between Riverview and Glenview Boulevards, just blocks from the Atlantic Avenue.

Both victims had stab wounds and deep cuts. The motive remains unknown.

Bradford Gonzalez lives right across from where police found the two bodies. He moved to this area from Winter Haven three years ago because he wanted a quiet community and to feel closer to the beach. Now, he isn't so sure about how quiet this area is.

Gonzalez has security cameras on the outside of this house, one which overlooks where police say they found the two bodies. Gonzalez says unfortunately, a technician cut the wifi on Saturday, never restoring it.

“If he wouldn't have done that, I would have gotten the whole thing," Gonzalez said.

According to the Daytona Beach Police Department’s online crime mapping tool, in addition to Sunday morning's incident, the Daytona Beach Police responded to eight incidents within a one mile radius in the past seven days.

Gonzalez said he'd like to see the community step up and work with police to make the neighborhood safer.

Police have not yet released a detailed description of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Daytona Beach Police.
