“[We want] to let people know about her and hope she can see them so she knows how much we want her back,” he said while he held a stack of flyers in hand and tears in his eyes. “Paola, we’re waiting for you to come back. We want to see you. We hope to be with you before the new year. It’s not been easy.”

Her car was found abandoned in that area.
Gustavo said Paola planned to visit her sister Andrea that day but never made it.
“Her mom became worried Saturday morning when Paola didn’t call her,” he said.
After not hearing from her at all on Saturday, her family went to her home on Sunday, saw her car was gone and her pets left all alone. It’s something her dad says she’d never do.
He said he was heartbroken she wasn’t there for Christmas Day and grew more concerned when law enforcement didn’t find her after a three-day search in Wekiwa Springs.
Still, Gustavo still believes his daughter will return home safely soon.
“We’re not giving up hope we’ll see her again,” Gustavo said. “We’re a family of faith and pray for her safe return.”
